Well.... she finally did it (or at least we think she did).... Maggie gave up the paci. Our tactic was to give the paci to Abby (my sister's dog). I asked Maggie if she wanted to let Abby have her paci and she ran out of her room, took the paci out of her mouth, and laid it down in front of Abby. She has asked about it once or twice since yesterday, but never cried for it. Now last night, she woke up twice wanting mama but never asked for the paci so we shall see what happens tonight.Update 3 days post paci: Maggie continues to wake up every night a couple of times usually once around 1 am and then around 4 am. She has not said paci once but is very angry when she wakes up. So, needless to say there is not much sleep going on at this household. Will update later! Tonight we are enforcing the Ferber method ....

Good Luck with that..I have tried several attempts like that but he always ends up with it again...Either he will find one in the house or he gets sick and I feel sorry for him or....I just know the papi will shut the cryin up instantly...Grant is 2.5 and still uses it at home...we try not to take it in public
